27% People Exposed To COVID-19: Karnataka Sero-Survey

Over 27 per cent folks of Karnataka have been uncovered to the coronavirus to date, a pan-state sero-survey has revealed. The survey estimated that there are 40 undetected infections for each COVID-19 case confirmed utilizing the RT-PCR check.

“We are still going to give directions to the districts where the prevalence is less. Less than 5%, less than 10%, because in future these districts may have an increase in the pandemic (cases). So, we need to increase testing in the districts where the prevalence is less and ensure that the next stage is not achieved, “he added.

Karnataka has reported 8,32,396 whole instances, out of which 40,395 are energetic. In the previous couple of days, the state has been witnessing a decline in its each day COVID-19 figures.

Karnataka has been conducting assessments on the fee of 1,22,848 assessments per million, which is the third highest amongst main states in India.
