Delhi people fined Rs 500 for not using mask over delay in issuance of notification

New Delhi: Confusion echoed in Delhi on Friday after the federal government’s resolution to levy a advantageous of Rs 2000 on residents for not carrying masks in public locations.

City officers cited an absence of a correct notification on Friday and continued to impose Rs 500 fine on people for not using face masks in public places.

Though the federal government has maintained that the notification had been shared with the authorities involved on Friday, November 20.
